What helps a contractor quote

• Your city or ZIP code
• The job: new driveway, patio, slab, walkway, steps, retaining wall, repair or replacement
• Rough size in feet, or a phone photo with a tape measure in frame
• Whether old concrete, asphalt or lawn has to come out first
• Finish you're leaning toward: broom, stamped, colored or exposed aggregate
• Whether the work touches the street-side driveway approach or public sidewalk
